The Monument to Fallen Shipyard Workers 1970, also known as the Three Crosses Monument, commemorates the victims of December 1970. It commemorates the dramatic events of December 1970, when dozens of shipyard workers were tragically killed in the streets during strikes undertaken by workers of the then Lenin Shipyard and their suppression by the army.
