the largest passenger railway station in Gdańsk, located on the Tczew – Gdynia route. It is located in a historic[3] building on Podwale Grodzkie Street, in the centre of Gdańsk. It serves both intercity and international connections. The representative and spacious Main Railway Station was built between 1894-1900 in the style of the so-called “Gdańsk Renaissance”. The designers of the station complex were Alexander Rüdell, Paul Thömer, master builder Georg Cuny and railway building inspector Glasewald[8]. It is a conglomeration of eclectic Renaissance and Baroque forms.
