Mariacka Street
Mariacka Street is undoubtedly the most delightful of Gdansk’s streets, with completely reconstructed lintels, perfectly reflecting the unique atmosphere and character of the old buildings of Gdansk. Lintels stretch along the entire length of Mariacka Street, on both sides. They are a suggestive testimony of the former bourgeoisie and patricians, their artistic taste, respect for art and incredible sculptor’s craftsmanship
