Long Market
The Royal Road was the longest urban axis of the European Middle Ages. Its beginning is at the Highland Gate; it continues past the Fore Gate Complex of Długa Street, leading through the Golden Gate to Długa along patrician tenement houses with impressive facades rivaling in richness of form and originality of decoration, characteristic of Hanseatic cities.
