Fish market – The market
The market was established by a privilege of Grand Master Ludolf König in 1343, whereby the Teutonic Knights guaranteed themselves priority in the purchase of fish. Nowadays it is a place visited mainly in the summer months, especially during St Dominic’s Fair, when there are collectors’ stalls and a “flea market”.
